Manhattan Country Club
About the Manhattan Country Club:
Featuring multiple designs of ADG Lighting’s fixtures, the video takes you on a grand tour of the club. Upon your arrival at the main desk, you’ll see the lobby sconces integrated into the wooden louvers panels, designed by Gerald Olesker and manufactured by the ADG team.
Solid brass light fixtures are integrated into walnut surrounds. Once you venture into the main dining room, you’ll see the 8 foot tall golden coin chandelier floating centered from the skylight. The sconces in the main dining room’s walnut louvered panels were coordinated with KGM lighting consultants.
The elegant and modernly rustic wine bars crowning element is the honeycomb pendant, available through Architectural Detail Group, designed by the team at ADG, to toss shadow and pattern on the ceiling. Along with the grand ballroom polished brass and ribbed acrylic panel sconces, ADG helped to offset the contrasting grey fabric walls designed by Jen Wu (now at Haggy Belzberg architects). The corridor sconces are water jet cut modern artichoke sconces in an oiled bronze patina that KAA coordinated with ADG Lighting.
Featured in the outdoor bar are the golden swirl wrapped pendants, like a Christmas ribbon unraveled, overlooking the tennis courts and Olympic pool at MCC. Upon your arrival and departure is the modern sculptural chandelier, like an invisible birthday present wrapped in thick two-toned aluminum ribbon.
Gerald Olesker and the ADG team wanted your first arrival and last departure experience to be a grand one at the Manhattan Country Club, in luxurious Manhattan Beach, California.
Special thanks to the Executive Director at MCC for letting our team at ADG design and manufacture custom lighting for the club. The couture experience working with Jen Wu, the interior design and architect is what luxury design is about. Featured as a top rated tennis club in the area with the beach and local shops just around the corner, the remodeled club is an incredible experience.
