Transforming The Christopher Kennedy Compound
Every year, creatives and designers flock to Palm Springs for Modernism Week. The mission of Modernism Week is to celebrate and foster appreciation of mid-century architecture and design, as well as contemporary thinking in these fields, by encouraging education, preservation and sustainable modern living as represented in Palm Springs. For the past three years, one of the highlights of the show is the Christopher Kennedy Compound Show House. He tackles a full scale renovation of a selected Palm Springs home. The brilliance of the project is that you get to see how over a dozen designers translate their creative vision into a final showcase in the home. The Hollywood Reporter has stated that it is “The #1 Must-See Event for Palm Springs Modernism Week.”
ADG Lighting’s Creativity Shines
This year, ADG Lighting collaborated with renowned designer Michael Berman on the living room in the showcase home. Our lighting fixtures prominently display the style and grace of the mid-century modern theme. With the showcase home being one of the most significant and exciting events during the show, our work has been featured in LA Weekly and 1stdibs. We are honored and humbled to have the opportunity to work with such dynamic designers and our work to be featured in the respected publications.
