Starting Over At the Beginning

Isn’t it funny sometimes how life repeats itself and things come full circle? Twenty years ago, Gerald Olesker began a trend in lighting fixture design and manufacturing. Some of the projects he was a part of include working with Rios and Associates in Bel Air Crest, for a anonymous philanthropist and with Michael Berman on the Marciano home (founder of Guess Jeans) on Kip Drive. He also had the opportunity to work with Sandy Gooch (founder of Los Angeles based Mrs. Gooch’s specialty chain of health food stores bought by Whole Foods) on a spec house in Mulholland Estates.

Updating the Creative Design

Now, twenty years later, many of these properties have changed ownership and the new occupants are inviting us to provide new lighting creations for the property, to reflect their individual style and taste. Because of the high quality design and construction of those fabulous designs from twenty years ago, the current property owners are demanding that we repurpose or find new homes for those iconic pieces. They are surprised at how the work from twenty years ago has retained an extremely high market value and are in high demand for placement in other homes.

Relating to the Geography

Mulholland Estates is a guard gated community in the Beverly Hills.  The entrance to the community is located on the north side of Mulholland drive, between Beverly Glen and Benedict Canyon. A very attractive feature of Mulholland Estates for its residents is the high level of security offered to the community. This feature is highly sought after with high profile celebrities and business leaders alike.

The homes in Mulholland Estates range between 6,000 square feet and 12,000 square feet. Most homes were constructed in the 1990’s. Home in the Mulholland Estates, generally selling from $5,500,000 to $8,000,000.  Some of these prestigious residences do come up for lease, with monthly rental rates ranging between $25,000 per month up to $40,000+ per month.
